We counted every screening in 17 Classic Cinemas cinemas since 15 janvier 2021. Tickets sold come from the public booking system, the same one you use to pick a seat. The report refreshes every day.
A cinema shows how many seats are taken. A shop shows how many units it has in stock. Skumio checks your competitors' stock levels several times a day and turns every drop into sales and revenue, product by product.
The check is free, with no account to create and no card to enter.
Each bar is the tickets sold for every screening in the month. You can see the pandemic, the audience coming back and the hits that carry a whole year.

The year in progress is compared with the same days a year earlier. Occupancy is computed only from screenings whose screen capacity was published.
A period in progress is compared day for day with the same period a year earlier. A partial month set against a full one would always look like a fall.
A booking system has to know how many seats are taken, so it shows it. Check it regularly, add it up, and you have the box office. Online shops do exactly the same with their stock levels, and Skumio turns them into your competitors' sales.
The check is free, with no account to create and no card to enter.

Tickets bought for screenings that have not happened yet. The cinema knows this number before a film earns its first zloty at the box office, and we see it the same way.
Tickets by weekday and start time, last 12 full months. The darker the cell, the more tickets sold.

The ticket count is what the booking system itself publishes for every screening: a sold-seats counter or the taken seats on the room map. There is no model and no extrapolation.
These are 17 Classic Cinemas cinemas, not the whole national box office. The report shows how this one chain is doing.
Every screening is checked again for a week after it plays, so we record the final audience rather than the presale figure.
A screening that disappears from the programme is marked cancelled and left out of the totals, so tickets sold for it do not inflate the result.
A screening without a ticket count is treated as unknown, not empty. A month we have not downloaded in full is marked and left out of comparisons.
Where the booking system did not publish screen capacity (all of 2019 for this chain), occupancy is not computed. The ticket count is complete from 15 janvier 2021.
